A natural philosophy of breast aesthetics

Throughout my surgical career I have always asked myself the same question:

“Is it possible to achieve a more natural result?”

Although many successful methods have been used in breast aesthetics for decades, two things kept occupying my mind — especially in breast lift surgery.

The first was the gradual loss of upper-pole fullness over time. The second was that a silicone implant was almost always seen as the only way to solve it.

To me, however, every patient’s own tissue is a unique biological resource when it is evaluated correctly.

During surgery I always found myself thinking the same thing:

“Why should we need an artificial material when the patient has her own tissue?”

That question became the starting point of years of anatomical observation and surgical experience.

I came to see breast tissue not merely as a structure to be reshaped, but as living tissue capable of supporting the breast from within. The real point was not to remove that tissue, but to use it in the right place and in the right way.

So I re-evaluated breast anatomy again and again, and studied different surgical plans. Every operation taught me something new about how tissue behaves.

Eventually one idea emerged: if a natural autoprosthesis created from the patient’s own breast tissue is positioned so that it also benefits from the anatomical support of the pectoralis major muscle, a stronger internal support system can be built — without any implant.

That is how a new approach combining the advantages of two different anatomical planes came about, and it is why I named the technique Dual-Plane Autoprosthesis.

For me this is not simply a new surgical method. It is an expression of respect for natural tissue in aesthetic surgery — because I believe the best implant, in the right patient, is very often the patient’s own tissue.

The Dual-Plane Autoprosthesis (Zereyak Autoprosthesis™) is the product of a surgical philosophy that aims to preserve existing breast tissue, restructure it, and support it in the most anatomically advantageous position.

When I perform this technique today, my aim is not only to lift the breast. My aim is to give my patients a natural, balanced, soft breast shape from their own tissue — one that can be preserved for many years, without any foreign material.

Every patient is different to me. That is why I see each operation not as a standard procedure, but as a union of art and science planned for that individual person.

The Dual-Plane Autoprosthesis was born out of that understanding.
