Aesthetic breast surgery demands more than surgical skill: it requires command of anatomy, an aesthetic point of view and technical experience built over years.
The Zereyak Fellowship Program is an advanced training programme prepared for plastic surgeons who wish to deepen their knowledge and experience in aesthetic breast surgery. Its focus is the Dual-Plane Autoprosthesis (Zereyak Autoprosthesis™) technique, developed by Op. Dr. Umut Zereyak and contributed to the medical literature through publication in the international peer-reviewed journal Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (APS).
Participants have the opportunity to learn not only the theoretical basis of the technique, but every part of the process — patient selection, surgical planning, operative strategy and the assessment of long-term outcomes — alongside its developer.
Duration
Programme formats
Depending on the application and planning, the programme can be arranged as:

A single day in the operating room and clinic.

Purpose

The aim of the programme is to transmit advanced surgical techniques in aesthetic breast surgery safely, in accordance with anatomical principles and in the light of scientific evidence.

Live surgical observation
Participants follow every stage of the surgical technique by observing real patient operations in the operating room. During surgery the following are explained in detail:
- Preoperative marking
- Pedicle planning
- Preparation of the subpectoral pocket
- Creation of the Dual-Plane Autoprosthesis
- Internal fixation techniques
- Glandular shaping
- Mastopexy closure techniques

Surgical decision-making
A case discussion follows every operation. The main topics addressed are:

- What were the alternative methods?
- How do anatomical differences affect the surgery?

The fellowship programme has been prepared in line with that scientific approach: its aim is not only to teach a surgical technique, but to share technique development, scientific thinking and an ethical surgical approach.
